Dr. Huhn is an Assistant Professor of Spanish with expertise in Foreign Language Education and Technology. Her expertise includes work in program assessment,
technology, beginning language learners, and second language writing at all levels. Her work has included an assessment of a language learning center as her MA Thesis and an assessment of a Blackboard enhanced beginning language program as her dissertation, as well as program assessments for
WV school districts
and as a trained NCATE
Program Reviewer.
She participates and presents at national conferences (ACTFL) and has presented papers at CALICO, KFLC and other local conferences. Dr. Huhn has been very active in WVFLTA (West Virginia Foreign Language Teachers Association), and currently serves as past-president until 2014. She is also a member of PSMLA, and APPLES.
Prior to returning to academia, she worked in Bilingual Customer Service, and as a Translator/ Interpreter. Christina is originally from the upper Midwest, and enjoys
walking in
Blue Spruce Park or on the
Hoodlebug Trail with her dogs, as well as music, beadwork and digital photography.
