So statistics are fun .. and mrtg + rrdtool make them even more fun
I've been monitoring our NetApp filers for a little over a year now and have recently had time to go back and add rrd into the mix.
This has been quite fun.. So our filer monitor setup currently uses Mrtg to provide both a traditional log based view of filer ops etc.. and now the rrd version displayed with 14all.cgi
There was one glitch so far. The convert to rrd lost some historical data for certain targets. The odd thing is I have not been able to figure out why... yet!
