Embedded Windows Media Player Test

A test of embedding the Windows Media player right in the page. Compare this to the Embedded Flash Player Test. Click the play button to start the movie. The player can also be set to start automatically. Currently works with:

  • Internet Explorer 7.0
  • Internet Explorer 6.0
  • Internet Explorer 5.5
  • Internet Explorer 5.01 (but captions don't work)
  • Firefox 2.0 (but captions don't work)
  • Safari 3.0.2 beta (but video/sound quality is poor and captions don’t work)
  • Opera 9.21 (but captions don’t work)
  • Safari 1.3 (Mac OS X 10.3—but video/sound quality is poor and captions don’t work)
