OPFORs
OPFORs (Opposing Forces) - Picked from veterans of past combat simulations and the IUP and Clarion Paintball Clubs, this team’s objective is to serve as training aids to further enhance the value of training for the cooperating unit.
The OPFORs receive both formal and informal training on precision shooting, ambushing, aggressive engagement, booby trapping and concealment. In addition, all OPFORs are taught military protocol from the FM 7-8.
The more skilled and dedicated OPFORs design and construct their own camouflage suits. These guys are the cream of the OPFORs. They give the military personnel a realistic engagement. The military personnel participating in a combat simulation learn how effectively camouflage can be, especially after walking right past these OPFORs.
Note: Military Personnel may make requests pertaining to the types of OPFOR personnel they wish to use on a combat simulation.
