2010 Call for Presentations

The Niagara Chapter of the Society for Ethnomusicology is pleased to announce its 2010 Annual Meeting hosted by the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music at Kent State University, in Kent, Ohio on March 26-27, 2010.

 

The Program Committee encourages proposals for presentations, special sessions, lecture-demonstrations, and panel discussions on any topic.   Dr. Terry Miller, Professor Emeritus of Kent State University, will serve as Program Chair.  Further details of the meeting will be posted on the Niagara Chapter website.

 

As always, the chapter strongly encourages proposals for presentation from students. The T. Temple Tuttle Prize is presented for the best student paper at the meeting.

 

For consideration please submit a proposal of no more than 250 words by March 1, 2010.  Please include the title, author's name, and institutional affiliation.  All proposals should be sent by electronic mail directly to the Professor Terry Miller, Chair of the Program Committee.  In the SUBJECT line, please put the following designation: NIAGARA SEM 2010, in capital letters.
