A MOO is an acronym that stands for Multi-User Domain Object-Oriented. In the MOOs, users can communicate synchronously with people from anywhere in the world. MOO users can create rooms, objects, and programs. They can also communicate asynchronously with other users, for example, through MOOmail.

MOOs are very useful in teaching and learning second and foreign languages. With the MOOs language learners are able to meet in real-time and talk to native speakers.

Here are some educational MOOs for language learners to go and MOO!

In Thailand we encourage students to study foreign languages, especially English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, German, and Spanish.  We realize

that foreign languages are important to world trade. Foreign languages also help us to better understand the world we live in. In Thailand, students are encouraged to start learning foreign languages, especially English at an early age. Below are the links to find more about teaching different languages in Thailand.

The Bangkok Post newspaper has vacancies advertised everyday and is the best newspaper to look at for teaching jobs that is if you are actually in Bangkok.

Eslcafe.com has jobs advertised online and you can advertise in the job wanted section.  There is also an excellent job discussion forum which is well worth reading and a small submission of posts on Thailand, some good but others a little wacky.

Ajarn.com The most comprehensive Thailand English teaching website and the place with far and away the most job vacancies.
