Under Construction
Thanks to the Institute for the History of Mathematics and Its Use in Teaching (IHMT), Dan Curtin, Ed Sandifer, and Gary Stoudt have developed a (perhaps unusual) fondness for the work of the Italian mathematician Rafael Bombelli.
We were assigned to find out what was really in his work L' Algebra and thanks to the wonderful Artemas Martin Collection in the library at American University, we were able to begin the task.
