Response Questions

1. Please read at least two of the sound-related entries in
Princeton over the weekend (i.e. sound, alliteration,
repetition, etc). Then choose either Hughes' "Harlem" or Williams' "Red
Wheelbarrow" or "To a Poor Old Woman" and describe the
interesting sound effects in the poem.

 

2. Choose a poetic term/element studied thus far and discuss it in relation to H.D.'s "Garden". (Due 6/16)

3. Choose a poetic term and draft a 150-word definition, attributing any sources you consult in a brief list of works cited.   Write clearly, in your own words, and include an appropriate example.  (Due 6/18).
