Final Exam
Friday, December 17       10:15am - 12:15pm

Please write a 1-2 page cover letter for your portfolio. It should offer a preview of the portfolio itself, discussing your efforts and progress throughout the course of the semester and pointing to specific assignments (and your efforts and successes therein).  Think of this as an opportunity to call your teacher's attention to the work that went into your final paper. A business letter begins with the writer's address, a date, then the recipient's address.

M: Final day of in-class revision. Bring a fully revised draft on paper Wednesday; it will be checked in.
W: Editing workshop (worksheet). Grammar hints here. (Overview of  Portfolio requirements.)
F: Bring new printout, carefully edited; it will be checked in.  Final copy-editing.

Final Essay Due Monday 13 December. (With rough draft attached; electronic copy must also be submitted to turnitin.com).

Monday-Post summary (notes) of revision plan to blog. Create a "user profile" at  www.turnitin.com (entering class= 1170720  pass=leo202) and upload your research paper draft (help). Inclass revision and conferencing
Wednesday-Review of research revision guidelines; inclass-revision and conferencing.
Friday- Proper incorporation of sources; quotation/paraphrase/summary. Checking Turnitin.com reports.
