Journal Posting

1. Log-on to the Discussion Area of the WebCT Page.

2. Post your acrostic poem (homework) to the "Journal Posts Weekly" forum of the discussion.  For a subject, write "WK-1" and add your title.

3. Look at Eshleman's List (in your packet of xeroxes too).  Go to a room in the Synchronous Discussion Space.

4. Write about how Eshleman's points compare with your own assumptions about poetry. 

HW: Choose the element from Eshleman's list that seems most foreign to you; draft a poem in that style for Monday.
