Professional Information
Degrees achieved inlcude a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education and a Masters Degree in Business Education, concentrating on the field of Computers. As a business educator since September, 1974, my first teaching experience began at the Norwin High School in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania in the Business Education Department until 1990. IUP has been my place of employment since Spring, 1991; continuing to the present day as a tenured faculty member of the Computer Science Department.
In addition to teaching here at IUP, other experience includes teaching computer training in the business sector, conducting computer workshops for Penn State University, and conducting private computer tutoring.
Research interests include Distance Education, Academic Integrity in Technology, Cybersecurity, and Web-based training and assessment.
