• Establish a Visiting Writers Series to integrate with Postmodern courses;
• Obtain a grant to create a web site archiving performance recordings, with pedagogical connections to teaching texts;
• Edit a multimedia, postmodern textbook to supersede Sound and Sense and Understanding Poetry;
• Develop new courses in: International Sound and Performance Poetry, Digital Poetics and New Media, Jazz and African American Literature, Latino Poetry, and Modernist Poetries of the Americas;
• Study intensive Spanish and translate 20th-century, Latin American poetry.
